I'm happy with my weight today even though I'm still in the 290's...I sometimes feel like I'll never get out of them. :/ My weight was 294 just last Wednesday. I was struggling with eating...one day I'd be ravenously hungry and the next the mere thought of food made me sick. I'm sure the cycle of eating too much followed by a day where I ate very little caused my body to react in the only way it knew how to.

I have since discovered why my eating patterns were so erratic and why I had gained so much in such a short time frame. AF started showing her face last Thursday with a little spotting...then I had nothing for 2 days, and started spotting again on Sunday. Yesterday AF was here to stay. I had an upset stomach most of the day yesterday and everything I ate didn't agree with me...I get like that when I'm on my period. I'm just glad I'm over the crazy food mood swings, lol.

AF showing up on her own is an amazing feat for my body. And, while I'm not losing any weight at the moment I can only assume that I am doing something right since my hormones where at a level stable enough for my body to have a natural 30 day cycle. So, that's 2 natural cycles started on my own back-to-back.

To most women, they dread getting their period. To me, I welcome it! I am so irregular that I once went almost a year without a period. It's not that bad anymore, but I would like to repair my body enough that I can get AF (on my own without medicine) on a regular basis.

Okay...enough blabbering about my period. Does anyone read this anyways? Probably not, lol.

I haven't been around in quite some time. It's a shame.

Hubby and I have recently bought a BEAST of an elliptical. It is amazing. I officially love NordicTrack, lol! We're both focusing on eating right, exercising and overall just getting more active.

I'll be 30 in October and don't want to enter into my 30's overweight and miserable. And, as a goal I'd like to lose a significant amount of weight so that Hubby and I can get some professional pictures taken for our 10th wedding anniversary next March. :)

Also, we're still working on starting a family. We're up to 9 years of struggling with infertility. We've done numerous rounds of fertility treatments, but they did not work for/with my body. Now, I'm ready to take some time away from leaning on fertility treatments and finally get healthy. I believe that, for me, weight loss will result in pregnancy.

I am excited to have a plan and a way to execute that plan. Looking forward to being more involved around here!
