Ok, time to get back to it. Healthy eating and regular exercise are back on my list of priorities and the new season of The Biggest Loser has started so when I get home from work today, I'm turning on the TIVO and working out to last night's episode. :)

To date, I've lost 34 pounds. I was hoping to be a little further along by this point, maybe 40 pounds down, but I've hit some set backs. However, 34 pounds in 12 weeks is not too bad. I've dropped 3 pants sizes and had to accumulate a whole new wardrobe. I'm eating healthy, exercise is just a part of my daily routine, I sleep better, and I have more energy.
The whole reason I started this was because I wanted to feel good and look good when I surprise my husband with a week long vacation in Vegas upon his return from his 15 week deployment. I have three weeks to go and I really wanted to get down two more sizes, but I am still happy with the progress I've made. Since I'm off work for another month, I am buckling down and getting serious. I'm trying to kick start this plateau I've hit so I'm increasing my work out from three miles/one hour a day plus strength training to six miles/two hours a day plus strength training. I'm also cutting out carbs every other day and varying from 1500 calories on some days to 2000 on others. I've read mixing it up like that tricks the body so I'm crossing my fingers. :)
