feel like my weight loss is on pause
I definitely agree that you probably need to eat way less than 2400 calories per day. My intake is supposed to be around 1200, in order to lose a lb a week. There are weeks I do keep under that amount, but still don't lose.
I'll be very interested in reading some of the advice here.

how do you curve your cravings and reduce your appetite?
Just a teaspoon of peanut butter? No bread or cracker?
I love peanut butter, but thought for the calories, there's something more filling to eat, or more satisfying.

how do you curve your cravings and reduce your appetite?
I found I do better when I have lots of options and alternates on hand.
I live in a country where there is very little actual diet food, like in the US, so I have to find my own substitutes. There are low cal bars (55-59 cal) so I buy a bunch of those, to have as an afternoon snack with tea or coffee (3% milk), so that I won't dip into the goodies I have for the kids. It really helps, because they taste fine, and I've lowered my expectations. I don't find that a cup of broth helps, because I want to chew and crunch. If I know I'm going to have a treat or eat out, I plan for this by eating less that day, and the next. A slice of pizza can be dinner (with salad), not a late night treat. And so on. If you live in the US, there are unlimited substitutes, skinny cow, etc. The key is planning ahead what you are going to eat and when, and not eat what comes to hand, or haphazardly. If I want a cookie or pretzel, its one cookie or 3 pretzels, not eating randomly out of the bag.

Losing weight
Thanks for all the suggestions.
1200 calories per day is exactly what is recommended for me (5'2", around 133 lbs) to lose a pound a week. Its really hard to know the caloric value of a lot of things that I eat, but I know basically what I need to eat, in order to shed that pound. 1200 calories is not at all too low, for this weight, height and age. I'm moderately active.
Someone mentioned whole milk, cream and cereal. I stay away from cereal since its high in calories for a small amount, have skim milk instead and I put 3% in my coffee, not cream. Those little things add up. Salad greens, true, are low in calories, but not at all filling. Try steamed veggies instead.

Hi it's me!
I have one suggestion: get a good scale at home.
I have weighed myself every single morning before eating or drinking anything. Its a must, if you want to keep track of your weight.
That way there's no nasty little surprises, after a week or a month.
You'll be right on top of it. If you see you've gone up a bit, you can be extra vigilant, if you've gone done, you feel great!
I could never have done it without my trusty scale.
