You know, I just weighed in today. Lost 6lbs this month. Didn't do so well on following my food plan but it was OK. What was disheartening was last month it stated I'd reach my goal weight it 7 months... now I knew that was unrealistic to lose 100+ lbs but I guess in the back of my mind I was excited & half way believe I could do it. BUT this morning my bubble was totally busted!! I am now back to 17 months. I'm not in a hurry but I was still hoping to be more around the year mark. I guess that means I need to examine what I did last month that I lost more weight & see if that is something I should/could be doing more of. Writing in the journal is also something I should practice more as well. Already, I have lost a little over 10% of my start weight in the last 3 months. And on a food plan I can live. Stay tune for next weigh in!

Got lucky today. Had my typical breakfast and what I thought was a low cal lunch... I got a rude awakening!! After adding in all the "little" extras my low cal lunch came to over 500 calories. Shocker!! And to beat all I ate at Johnny Rockets for dinner with my daughter & granddaughter. Do you know what is low cal/low fat at Johnny Rockets? Not much! And being my first trip there, I didn't eat grilled chicken sandwich. I'm OK with my decision and I can attest that the Philly Cheese steak with green peppers & mushroom is great. And oh ya.... minus the cheese! (thought I could at least save that many calories). With all that, I didn't eat so healthy but still managed to stay under my calorie limit. Tomorrow is another day and today was great! After all, this is a eating plan for life, not just until I lose the extra weight. Its a healthy living way, for life!!
