I'm excited! I'm such a couch potato that I actually had over 5000 steps yesterday. Yeah me! That's a BIG deal for a 57 year old that has 100+ lbs to lose. I have been recording weighing, measuring & counting all my calories. BUT I'm still afraid to step on the scale. I don't want to be disappointed because it hasn't gone down. Good? or bad? not sure but at least I'm eating healthier still. Baby steps that will lead me to a healthy lifestyle change, that's 1 part of my goal.

I feel like I'm doing very well during the day. Eating LOTS more veggies than before. Need to make sure I make better chooses at dinner when we go out. The restaurants we normally go to aren't fitting my better life style so now I'm on the lookout for menus that will help me stay on track. Wish me luck!

I was diagnosed with hypertension! ME!! I am not going on meds if I can control it with diet & exercise so..... here I am! I have not been taking care of myself for years now and that's going to stop. I love me! And I want to live to be over 100. No more excuses. I will practice lifestyle changes that will better service my health. No more couch potato! No more mindless eating! I am worth it!
