Binging does not equal fun
For Thanksgiving, I didn't record my calories (I have recorded my calories every day since I joined this site in late April). I ate my normal breakfast, and ate a small dinner when I got back home, but I enjoyed Thanskgiving dinner without counting the calories from the meal. I did tell my mother I wanted a pumpkin cup instead of a slice of pumpkin pie so I can get the taste of dessert without eating the crust.

The next day, back to recording my calories and staying within my limit.

Also, my kickboxing class on Monday had the biggest attendance for a single class in at least 2 months.

Counting Calories once you reach your goal?
I reached my goal on August 1st. I still track my calories, and I plan to continue to do so. If I eat a meal at a restauarant where I can't really estimate my calories (say, a meal at a non-chain ethnic restaurant for example), I'm going to write in my journal what I ate.

I believe for me to keep this weight off for good, I need to track my calories daily, and continue to put the effort and time in for exercising. I don't think anything else will work for me.
