Yesterday for breakfast I had a smoothie. For lunch I had pizza and chocolate milk. For dinner I ate spaghetti and meatballs.
Approach: the spiker quick footwork toward the net before he or she jumps to spike the ball
Attack: the result of hitting the ball in an attempt to score
Spike: hard hit ball directed at the opponents floor inside the lines
Kill: an attack that results in an immediate point or side out

Server: the player that puts the ball into a play
Overhand Serve: serving the ball and striking it with the hand above the shoulder
Underhand Serve: A serve in which the ball is struck with the opposite closed fist in an underhand pitching motion
Ace: a serve that your opponent cannot return
Dig: passing a spiked or rapidly hit ball that is close to the floor
Floater: a serve that doesn't spin or rotate and therefore moves in an erratic

Yesterday for breakfast I had cereal. For lunch I had macaroni and cheese with milk and oreos. For dinner I ate injera with milk.
Set Pass: a tactical in which the ball is directed to a point where a player can spike it into the opponent's side of the court
Setter: the player that gets the second of three contacts and sets the ball for a teammate to hit
Overhand pass: a pass executed with both hand open play just above the forehead and controlled by fingers and thumbs

Serving Area: 10 feet wide at right hand of the end line and the player cannot cross until the ball is contacted
End Line: shortest line in the rectangle and player cannot cross it doing a serve
Attack Line: a line 10 feet from the net that separates the front row players from the back row players
Center Line: the boundary that runs directly under the net and divides the court into 2 halves
Platform: using the forearms to make a base to hit the ball
Bump: is it used to pass the serve, play balls below the waist, play hard driven ball, and contact balls located far from the player
