I did so well with my eating yesterday. My carbs were at an all time low. My calories were at an all time low. I wasn't starving. I was actually eating what I was supposed to and doing good with it.
Then the evening came. And the SO and I decided to go out to shoot some pool and have a few drinks. Weeeeeeeeeell, The beer got me again. I love beer. And French Fries. But I didn't have any French Fries, but I did have my fair share of beer last night. 75% of my carb intake yesterday was Bud Light. Grrr...I wish I could drink on something else. Oh well. Still well below my daily recommendeds for yesterday, and on to a new day today.

My 11 year old daughter made dinner last night. Bless her heart. Mom works 2 jobs. StepDad works a swing shift, and the little woman just loves to help out around the house. If it involves her 'adulting', then she wants to do it.
So I get home, sit down on the couch to take my sneakers of, and she presents a plate to me, with a pile of mac and cheese and a pig in a blanket with only mustard...because she knows ketchup is bad for my diet. Under no circumstances was it ok to tell her I would not eat what she prepared for the family.
However...1 croissant wrapped hotdog, and a half cup of mac and cheese...75 carbs. Tack on the 51 carbs from the beer I drank last night and yesterday was yet another awful day for my diet.
Note to self:
The next time the girl makes dinner for the family, secretly feed the dogs the bad stuff under the table, i.e. the bread, the pasta, the tortilla, the potatoes. Ok, maybe not ALL the potatoes, but some.

While Bean Burritos qualify as delicious, they do not qualify as 'low carb'. And I ate 2 of them. For dinner last night. It is so stinkin' difficult to eat healthy at home, when no one else does it. I know that sounds like an excuse, but seriously! If they are going to eat Bean Burritos, I want to eat Bean Burritos too! Eating healthy is so much easier at work with my low carb buddy. She keeps me motivated. She keeps me eating healthy. Those family people of mine...man, they make my attempt at dieting so dang difficult.

Splurged on my dinner last night. Had a BLT and ate the bun. Along with a handful of French Fries. Potatoes are my weakness. It is really easy for me not to eat them if they are not available, but if there are French Fries within a smelling vicinity of me, (and I have the nose of the bloodhound), I will find them, and I will eat them. I need to work on that. The BLT and Fries alone were 62% of my carb intake for the whole day. Yesterday is an example of what NOT to do on a low carb diet. That's not a good way to work on a bikini bod. #nomorebuns #donteatthefries
