Sorry for my hiatus! I've been busy with packing and getting ready to move, and frankly I've been depressed about weight issues. I am happy, however, because my weight finally seems to be moving in the right direction. I had been weighing up to 148, and now I'm back to 143. After this weekend (of lots of heavy lifting), I have a feeling it will be down to around 140-141. I'll accept that because that's my usual weight. Actually, 138-141 is where I typically hover on the scale.

It's a possibility that the thyroid pills are finally kicking in as well. I have to admit that I feel somewhat better. Maybe not 100% cured, per se, but I don't feel like I'm dragging my butt. That's always a good thing.

Once I'm in Des Moines, I'll have the opportunity to use the school's fitness center over the summer. That idea makes me excited. School's right across the street, so my "gym" will be particularly convenient. I still need to incorporate more exercise, but it's difficult in an apartment with wood floors that squeak when you jump around the living room.

I still need to work on drinking more water. As terrible as it is for the environment, I do better with drinking water if it comes in conveniently-sized single serving bottles. It's so much easier for a lazy person like me to grab a bottle out of the fridge than pour water into a glass. Sad, I know.

I'm hoping I can find a job for the next couple of weeks. I'm gonna try to keep busy with work and exercise. Yes.
