New member - Am I doing it right?
Thanks for the response, I have a terrible habbit of over thinking things, especially when I fully commit to something. I will just keep doing the calorie logs here and watch the weight loss and tweak it as you have suggested!!

I have been reading online as well about doing Zigzag calorie diets (So you don't have the same defecit each day, but over a 7 day span you still do) which is apparently good for when your body adjusts to the low calorie level?

I just want to make sure I'm being as effective as possible!

New member - Am I doing it right?
Hello everyone, new member here and very new to healthy eating / living. I have slowly crept up to 112KGs from 83 over a 5 year period and have finally decided I need to do something about my weight before it really gets ontop of me.

Currently due to having a newborn baby I don't have as much time / money as I would like to really dedicate myself to a full diet / gym routine.

I have time for walks in the morning, so I'm keeping up with that, as for my diet when I signed up here yesterday based on my details it said I need 2900 Calories a day. My Current Diet has me eating around 1600 - 1700 Calories a day and I don't ever really feel hungry. I get some small moments in the day when I do but that's usually as I'm cooking dinner and about to eat anyway.

Is that fine for me to have a 600-700 Calorie defecit each day? I don't want to go into starvation mode or do more damage then good. I'm new here so I don't really have much of a daily food log for you to look at. But assuming there is a healthy Pie chart spread would this level of calories be fine?
