Even though it is the beginning of the third day of my diet I am beginning to see and feel a huge difference. Yesterday I had so much energy physically and mentally. When I eat crappy I never want to do anything brain stimulating, but I read a book and I was online for hours reading about different diets and how they work. A really interesting one was a genetic type diet, from the guy who wrote
Eat Right for Your Blood Type
I think. My stomach feels less irritated from the things I eat (especially from the carbs) and I can feel a little difference in the way my pants fit. I am having a little more calories and protien than what the diet recommends, but like the last time I did this diet my food intake went go down as the diet went on so I am not worried. I think it takes the third day of the diet to realize that I can do it, even if I cheat I'm going to finish it, and continue to eat healthy and maybe even start working out. Even though I love food and variety I have to teach myself moderation, and after a while I can have the things I want, just not everyday.

Found this tip:
24hr Juice Cleanse. Makes 1 days worth: 8oz all natural cranberry juice combine with 56oz of water in pot and bring to light boil, add 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp ginger and nutmeg in a tea ball and step in liquid for 15 minutes. Let cool, then stir in 3/4 cup fresh OJ, 1/4 cup lemon juice and Stevia Plus for taste. When you wake up stir 2 tbsp ground flaxseed into 1 cup of the juice. 1 hr later drink 8 oz water. Every hr forthe next 12 hours, alternate juice (no flax) with a glass of water. Mix another 2 tbsp flax in last cup before bed.. This recipe is in my FF detox book. It works great as a jump start to your diet or if you just need to drop 3-4 pounds quick. I use it about once a month, and I am on the maintenance program

Today my inches are:
Arms- left, 13in. right, 13.5in.
Bust- 39in.
Waist-37in.
Hips- 43in.
Thighs- left, 25.5in. right, 25in.
All day yesterday, since it was my day off, I cooked just about all the groceries I bought for the diet. I cooked 6 chicken breasts with kind of a "neutral" seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, corriander, mustard powder), I boiled up some eggs, made some turkey meatballs, and made some different sauces for the meats and veggies I cooked.
I was hoping if the food was already there prepared then I wouldn't have an excuse to cheat.
My friend's birthday party was last night. Drinking alcohol and being on a diet is not too much fun. I can't go on late night food trips to soak up the alcohol. Plus alcohol calories add up. I also had a piece of chocolate birthday cake. Ah well. It's only day two, I'll get better.

I was on the Fat Flush Plan about a year ago and lost about 40 lbs, I went down from 220 to 180. I was about a size 18, and found myself shopping in the plus size section for the first time in my life. I got down to a size 13 (almost a 12)jean in juniors which was pretty awesome. During the course of the year I gained back about 20 lbs. and have been trying to start the diet on and off again since then. I am about a size 14 right now. I want to be a size 10/11. So I am going to start this online journal and see if I can keep up with the whole program instead of just the two week Phase 1 portion.
Things i like about this diet:
1.My face gets clear from blemishes and is glowy.
2.Fast results
3.Even though it is a fast working diet, because of the cranberry water, my skin is not saggy from the rapid weight loss but rather tight and firm.
4.I don't have to worry about being unhealthy, I get all the nutrients I need.
5.I find myself having more energy.
6.People notice that I look better and compliment me on it.
7.I lose belly wieght.
8.It shrinks my stomach so I don't eat as much.
9.Food become less of such a big deal.
10.I have to become creative with the limited food list.
11.I kept losing weight even though I was no longer on the diet because it taught me to choose better foods.
What I don't like about this diet:
1.The first three days feels like I am starving and I can never get enought to eat even though I load on veggies.
2.I love salt. Korean food especially.
3.I love to drink wine.
4.I love cheese.
5.I love food in general, it is an art form to me, and when I have to think about changing the way i eat for the rest of my life I get sad.
6.Its expensive. Fresh veggies, meats, suppliments, pure cranberry juice (at least 6 bucks for a bottle), flaxseed oil is like 25 bucks. Maybe it just feels like I am spending a lot of money because they are things I don't usually want to spend money on.
The last time I weighed myself was about a month ago or more and I was 200 lbs.
I don't have a scale, and I am not sure I want to keep track of my weight. I lose more inches than weight. I have always been really muscular and dense, and weighed more than an average woamn at my height even when I was at my most fit. So I am going to keep track of my inches.
Today my inches are:
Arms- left, 13in. right, 14.5in.
Bust- 39in.
Waist-38in.
Hips- 43.5in.
Thighs- left, 25in. right, 24in.
ouch.
Today I have the day off of work and I think I am going to spend it preparing meals for the next week, and if I have enought food, for the week after that. I should get some tupperware, so I can just pull a meal out of the freezer and take to work. That is how I keep failing the diet, I just dont have time to make something for lunch so I end up buying a cheap sandwich.
