Stress...it's a killer! Mostly I just like to have something sweet after my dinner and that is my biggest downfall. Does not make me happy. BUT, on a happy note, my kids are giving me very nice gifts for belated birthday and upcoming mother's day gifts and one of them includes a fitness tracker so I am super excited about it!!

Sorry I haven't logged in for a few days...or even posted what I am eating. I have been watching what I eat (to a degree) but have had anxiety this past week when my co-worker's young daughter passed away suddenly. I've had too many losses in the past 8 months (my 30 y/o nephew; my 61 y/o sister; my 82 y/o mother and my cousin's 52 y/o husband) and now this. I had so much anxiety that I went to the doctor last Friday and she wanted me to take an anti-depressant. Pills are not my bag but I am making it through and forging ahead. I'll pop back on when I'm feeling better and have good news to share...hopefully that will be the case very soon.

I think my weekends are just too out of control. There is no routine and that causes me to eat very badly. I will have to work on this. Was able to get outside and walk today due to the nice weather!! Feels pretty good even though the scale says I gained over 3 pounds....

I have been counting calories but eating way too many over my allowance...mainly because there was leftover junk in the house from my birthday weekend. Surprisingly, I stepped on the scale today and my weight went back down to what it was pre-birthday weekend status! That makes me feel a little better anyhow.
I really need to focus on not eating junk food...

Had a birthday "weekend" rather than just one day and while I didn't eat in the worst way, I did eat some type of dessert each day and even ate dessert twice in one day, so my weigh-in was a little higher than I'd like to admit. I will record it today but I'm not happy about it. Oh well, on a brighter side I went out and walked for almost 20 minutes during my lunch today. I did not buy one of those fitness bracelets for my birthday because you have to have a newer phone in order to use the app...although I know you can log in on a computer, my problem is that I am in front of a computer at work and unless it's my lunch hour (like it is right now), I can't do personal things on it. So...I'm going to try and be positive and work out/walk when I can and then log it in when I can too!
