So far, so good this week. I'm really working on watching how many carbs I take in. I think that this is the reason the scale hasn't budged. And the fact that I know I'm not drinking enough water during the day has an affect on that as well. My goal this week is to drink much more water even if it means having to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I'm also going to watch my carb intake and make sure I'm exercising enough even if I don't have an exercise partner. I have been really bad in the last few weeks that if I don't have someone to exercise with me, then I just don't do it. Now with spring in the air and the days are getting warmer, I'm hoping that it will help motivate me to get out more and go for walks. Even if it means just walking a few blocks to pick up my daughter from school. I know it's not a lot of walking but every little bit counts. Only two more days until weigh in so I really have to work hard. If anyone has any tips or pointers to give me, please feel free to do so.

Ok, it's the beginning of a new week and I'm off to a good start so far. I'm really watching how many carbs I take in per day because I think that's why the scale didn't budge last week. I did lose inches in my hips and thighs though so that was a plus. I feel like I'm really trying to figure out what makes my body tick, meaning how I can lose the pounds and inches. It's kind of a struggle right now but I know once I figure out the right meal and exercise plan for my body it will be a great accomplishment and I'll look much better in no time. I've also noticed that if I do something small for myself that it gives me that boost of confidence and raises my self esteem, which then motivates me to try to do even better. I told myself that I wasn't going to color my hair again but I'm seriously thinking about it just so that I can get that little bit more motivation. My youngest sister and I went and got new tattoos the other day and I think that has also helped motivate me to try to look better and feel better about myself. I'm looking forward to my weigh and my measuring this week.
