These rules are not meant to be broken.
12. Talk to your doctor...if you really weigh 95 pounds then unless you're very very short you're medically underweight.

Is there a way to enter a portion of one of your favorite meals?
What I do is figure out the nutritional information of meals I make and then save them as "custom food" rather than custom meal. This is a bit more of a hassle the first time though and I agree that it would be nice if the meals work like you described.

How much salt do we need?
If you can't get your iodine from iodized salt or other fortified foods (since it's hard to tell without a nutritional label), you can try to consume some kelp or dry seaweed as a snack or part of other food such as sushi. Alternatively, vegetables which are grown in iodine-rich areas are also good, but that can be hard to predict as well. Or -- just take a multivitamin which includes iodine.

Atkins Support Site
I've tended to have a pretty good experience here, but I think that in any environment (especially one with a lot of anonymity) you'll have some people who just want to start trouble. I hope that these few bad apples don't discourage you from supporting and getting the support of others on these forums.

How much salt do we need?
Depending on the food it may or may not already have sodium content in it (for example, some meat and fish will already contain sodium, as do things like olives). I would set the tracking on the site to track sodium as one of your nutrients for at least a week or so and see where you stand. If you're far below the recommended daily intake, then maybe add a small amount of salt to food. Otherwise, you're probably ok.
I'd be a little bit more concerned about not getting enough iodine, as the primary source of iodine for most people who don't live near the ocean in most countries is iodized salt. Lack of iodine can cause goiter as well as thyroid problems, which are definitely things you want to avoid especially while trying to lose weight. Perhaps the best approach for that is to have a small amount of iodized salt with something once in a while (no need to overdo this either).
