Decided to be masochistic today and weigh myself at the gym post-Christmas debauchery. Shocked to see I've lost weight. Perhaps the key is cookies and heavy meals and little to no exercise? Probably not. But, must keep in mind that perhaps extreme happiness links to lowering weight.

Christmas is over - figured I might as well enjoy it. Gained weight - haven't checked how much yet. Will do that tonight when I work out at the Y. Got a little sick, though, so might not actually stop in.

Had a little trouble right off the bat - went to get coffee, then saw the plate of awesome looking Christmas cookies right next to it. Ate a homemade girl scout cookie thing and peanut butter cup wrapped in peanut butter cookie. Both very reminiscent of my mom's amazing Christmas offerings. So, opted to not have cup of yogurt as planned. Cookies for breakfast: the start of any healthy day.

Not sure how many calories for lunch today - office holiday gift swap complete with pizza, pasta and salad. Haven't eaten yet, but hoping to load up on salad and have about a cup of pasta. No other snacking allowed!
