Another 1.8 lbs and it's 20 gone. BG is doing really well - this morning was 87. The only blip was last night first hour reading after dinner was 143. Second hour was 104 though. Need to talk to dr. about possibly getting on Metformin along with insulin, since from what I can read, it would be good for me, since I am so highly insulin resistent. Not looking forward to those side effects though.
According to my calculations, I am in deficit by over 1600 calories per day to lose at this rate. That puts my Tdee at 36-3800 calories at this weight, which gives me a multipliar of over 14, which seems really high. This would mean that at 210, my Tdee would be 2976. Maybe, but I doubt it. Probably end up more like 25-2600, but I can live with that.

254.6 this morning and BG 94. 20 units Lantus last evening (down 5). One more lb. and that will be 20. My back is killing me and off to chiropractor this morning. How much ibuprofin can you take safely? Taking BG readings 1 and 2 hours post eating all day to see if I go over 140 at 1 or 120 at 2.

Back on track. Losng .4 lb. a day and BG well in control - 95 this morning and 98 last night before bed. As near as I can tell I am 14-1500 cal. a day in deficit, which is an awful lot, but I feel good and will keep this up until something changes. 256.4 this morning.

Wretched week. Ate too much, drank too much wine, blah blah. Almonds and sunflower seeds part of my downfall. The only good news is the BG is still good because of what I ate. Did't do the carbs at all. Jason and grandkids coming next Friday, but only for one meal and I'm cooking that so not a problem there. Need to get the ball and treadmill sequence going again. Thank goodness for golf. Start again with the measuring and logging.
