My name is Amanda and I am 27 years old. I have one child who is three, one on the way and a wonderful husband. I've always been overweight. Since graduating high school, I have not been below 190 lbs. After I had my son, I hit an all time high of 274 lbs! Before joining this website I had lost around 30 lbs and hit a three month plateau. Now I hope seeing and reading about all these people going through the same struggle I am will inspire me to stick to what I know I can do! *UPDATE* I have maintained a weight in the 230's for the first trimester of this pregnancy. If I can manage not to get above 245 by the time this baby is born I will have a fantastic chance of being below 200 by the end of this summer. SO EXCITED!

ok so anyone have the answer to this?
Yeah, it's just like when you have a scar that gets sunburned and gets super pink...same thing. Make sure you put plenty of SPF on the stretch marked areas so that the skin cells can heal as much as possible. I sound like I'm trying to be a professional, but I've just had stretch marks for too long!

Anyone need to lose over 100LBS???
Don't feel alone. When I started, I had 120lbs to lose, and now I'm 35 pounds down! I never have known what a "healthy weight" feels like, but I hope to someday in the near future! Keep your eyes on your goal and never give up! (And don't beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon for a day.)
