Healthy breakfast today! :) I was thinking about it this morning, and I need to buy a scale...I have no idea what I currently weigh. I haven't actually weighed myself since like, Christmas. (I weighed 165)

Gah!

I have never been this big. Ever since I had the baby I've been such a whale (by the way, her 1st birthday is in a week, which just reminds me that I've been this way for a full calendar YEAR...). Oh well. It will be nice out soon enough and I do NOT want to have these lumpy thighs come swimsuit season. I don't know why, but I developed this habit of eating late at night after work. And now I look like a beach ball because I'm barely scraping 5'1" and so all my excess weight is GLARINGLY obvious. -_-

Exercise!! >_<

I love to jog, although the past year I've been SLACKING. I've hit the gym a few times, but...not often enough, I'm afraid. Well, whatever, the sidewalk is free. I can jog anytime I want :)

Anyway. Just wanted to update briefly. I have to bathe the kids before they get oatmeal prints all over the walls...

Oh my God. It's so hard for me to eat healthy, even when I have healthy food right in front of me. I'll eat a breakfast like the one I had this morning, and then like, 4 seconds later I'll want more food, or worse, I'll want something sweet.

My parents conditioned my siblings and I to drink soda with every meal, and want dessert after, when we were kids. We weren't taught portion control or healthy eating habits. So now this is the only way I know how to eat. And I want to set a positive example for my kids. I can already see my 4-year-old acting the same way I did when I was her age, and that's probably why I was such a porky kid. I didn't know when to stop eating, and she acts the same way. She always asks for seconds, or a snack right after a meal. Sigh.

I have GOT to stay on track. No food after 10 (when I get off work). No JUNK. No McDonald's. PORTION control. It's a lot harder than it sounds. For me, anyway. And I have GOT to start drinking more water. It's crazy how little i drink on a daily basis...

Anyway. Must run. Have to get the Older Child out of the bath tub before she turns into a freaking mermaid.
