I am 30 years old and have been divorced twice. My first husband and I had 4 kids together so, that alone, made me go from 130-199. After each baby the lowest I got was 165. When we divorced in 2006, I got back down to the 130-140 range and I stayed there for about 4 years, even through my short 2nd marriage. However, since July of 2010, I have been in a relationship with an amazing man that I have been friends with for several years. Since I started dating him (I was 135-140-ish) I actually got up to 180lbs. I started to freak out so I went to a diet and nutrition lecture. Granted, most things I already knew (and wasn't following) but there were a few helpful tips and food suggestions that I hadn't thought about. I went to a dr and was weighed there and I am down to 160. My goal is to try and go another 30 pounds, but I'm not going to stress myself over it, I'll be staisfied with 20. I just want to make sure I am happy, healthy, and look good for my children as they grow older. I had a mom who struggled with weight and I know the effects it had on me, so I don't want that for my children as they grow. I am always interested in hearing others success stories and tips and key elements that heled them out. Please feel free to share or offer ANY advise.
