So this is my second week of the C25K program. It is going great so far. I found the podcasts that have great music and tell me when to begin each interval. Nice! I also am now getting ready at the gym so that I can get in a little extra time working out. As long as I am in the shower by 6:30am I am pretty much golden with getting to work on time.
I have started having egg whites and oatmeal for breakfast. We shall see how that goes. I am going to try and do the same breakfast, same lunch routine for a few weeks and see how that works out for me. I am still not seeing any loss on the scale but I am not going to give up. I am going to keep plugging along!!

I have been doing great on my workouts and so so on my eating, but this morning I did something that is very unlike me. I had a bag of Butterfingers Snackerz. I love me some Butterfingers, but these little treats don't taste as good to me, so (drum roll please) I got rid of them. I put them out at work so everyone could take them. My reasoning was (get this) if I don't really like them, why waste some of my daily calories eating a candy I don't enjoy just because its there. I know, who are you and what have you done with Willow, right!!
So does that mean that I am actually starting to make healthier choices? Who know's, but as far as I am concerned score: 1 for Willow, 0 for Butterfingers.

So I fudged at the gym this morning. I did a 10 minute warm up on the eliptical and then 10 or 15 minutes of upper body weights. I am going walking with my husband tonight after work and guess my brain wasn't too concerned with this mornings workout. I wont be letting that happen again, expecially since I did not have a weight loss since last Wednesdays weigh in. I know that when I first start back working out that it may take a few weeks to see a loss. But rationalizing it does not make it any less depressing to not see a loss.

So I have been working out strong for over a week, but I haven't been been as strict with myself with my food intake. My first weigh-in, no change :( So I guess I need to get stricter with my caloric intake to see better results.
It didn't rain yesterday so my husband and I went for our walk. 3 miles at a brisk pace up and down the hills in our neighborhood. It felt good getting two workouts in yesterday!!

I had a great workout this morning. It feels good to be getting back into my cardio groove. The hubby and I will be going for a nice walk in our hilly neighborhood tonight if it doesn't rain. I want to get back into the weight lifting, but there never seems to be enough time. I like to try and get in a good hour of cardio and 30 minutes of weights. I can always try and bring my stuff to the gym and get ready there. Maybe I will try that next week.
