Thoughts on alcohol
I had my first weigh in after my first week last night at my bootcamp class. I lost 3 lbs! Not too shabby for the my first weigh in SmileEven with some wine in the evenings Smile

LOL no but the comment made me giggle a little....I don't have issues stopping drinking wine in the evening at all...its all about if I want to and if it adversely affects my weight loss which I will see with my bootcamp weigh ins as I do different things each week...thanks for your opinion. I am only on day 8 of my diet and bootcamp so I have another 11 weeks to go...and my results will tell me what will be better for me...just thought some of you could share your experiences with it....

Thoughts on alcohol
Well first of all....I am not doing Atkins....I need to change that...I never did in the beginning...and I never said I am steadily gaining at all. I was posing the question to see what others felt it did in the way of THEIR OWN experiences....Im not looking for anyone to validate any choices I make or don't make...This is a forum to get opinions and I have asked if the people that know first hand can share their views on the subject is all...Thank you for all of the responses.

Thanks...I love reading others opinions on this...I have never quit all together while trying to lose before....My first weigh in is on Monday...so I think I will see what results I get and then make my decision if I need to eliminate it .

Thoughts on alcohol
I am currently on day 6 of a 12 week weightloss/ fitness/bootcamp. I am keeping my daily calories between 1200-1400. I have done 3 one hour classes this week...I know I need to do some cardio outside the gym on my own too.. When logging my food every day I almost always include alcohol/wine...I am just curious what everyone elses opinions are on whether it hinders weight loss a lot or not....If my calorie intake includes it...should that be all that matters at the end of the day? Curious how you feel!
