The last three days I have taken a break from my phentermine assisted diet. I stayed mostly on track, eating a few more calories than I would otherwise, but that was intentional. I was losing weight really quickly and thought I should have a day or two of a higher intake so I don't stall. I didn't record food or count calories but I ate healthy and I got full on things with good flavor, rather than filling up on salad before I got to eat yummy stuff. I found I missed my salad on Sunday and ended up making grilled fish tacos with a lot of mixed greens on them.
Today I just forgot to take the phentermine before it was too late. If I take it after 8:30 am I find I can't sleep well. So I will skip it again today. I am finding I am eating like I am still on diet vacation. No good.
I am seeing some potentially permanent changes already; miss my salad? For real? I had a sore throat this weekend and couldn't bring myself to drink anything sweet, had water and chamomile tea no honey, that's it. I bought a sugar free diet sports drink to bring flavor to my water. Yeah I am sick of water but I can't stop drinking it either. I thought I would pour some of the sport drink in my water to give it a hint of fruit. Ends up I haven't really wanted the imitation fruitiness. I guess the cleaner foods are really making an impression.
