losing 0.2 lb a week

This week was a tough week. I ate more than usual and I am pretty sure I gained 1 kilo or so. I can feel it. I am not jumping on the scale tough as I don't want to get all depressed and throw away all the hard work. I am happy I've respected my vegan diet but I also need to respect my calorie intake, which is pretty low. Also, this week I decided to quit RedBull Sugar Free. I don't drink coffee and I spend 13-15 hours a day in front of the computer. I sleep 4 hours per night. I feel like I need RedBull but I am pretty sure I can do without. So, this is the first RedBull free day. It's also 6 six weeks since my vegan transition. My next weigh in is next Saturday and we'll see then.

Today was the most difficult day since I've made my vegan transition. I felt really hungry and for the first time in four weeks and three days I wanted to taste some chicken breast. I didn't but it wasn't easy. I ate more grapes and two small croutons instead. However, it was hard because I am still hungry and I normally don't eat after 7 pm. I've here at my computer for the past 13 hours and it kills me. My head hurts and my eyes are burning. I should sleep more tonight.

Today is a good day as it's been exactly one month since my transition to veganism and I feel happy and content with my decision. I began to have a different perspective of many things when it comes to food and how it gets on my table. If before I didn't think twice before eating a little meat from my son's meal, today I think before I make any eating decision: before I drink a packaged juice or soup, pretzels, anything processed, McDonald's french fries, packaged nuts, ice cream, and so on. So many things that used to hinder my weight loss efforts. being As the
jeans don't feel so tight around my hips, as I begin to feel more energetic - unlike other times when I tried to lose weight rationally by eating a bit of everything and I felt drained of all energy - as I enjoy my decision of not causing any harm to other beings, I became even more determined to follow the vegan lifestyle not just the diet. This is a goal I want to achieve with all of my strengths but it is difficult in my country. There are so many things I don't have access to, such as information. I can't check whether a company uses animal-based ingredients or not, I can't afford to get rid of my clothes that contain any animal-based elements, I don't have access to cosmetics that are vegan and I have to order them from the States or UK. In a way, it is better because the lack of vegan processed foods makes me look for healthier alternatives and just source the ingredients locally from people I know and prepare simple and nutritious meals. I hope to be able to do this every single day of my life.
