I'm a working mother of 4 and I'm married to the greatest man I could ever imagine. He's truly the man of my dreams.

I joined fatsecret.com because my husband and I joined the Biggest Loser class at church and they told us to each register on this site. We were in training for a 5K...which we never did.

I also had a goal to be at my goal weight by my 30th birthday...which I wasn't.

Now I'm 31yrs old and I want to be healthy. I love my 4 children and I want them to be proud of me. I also want to set a good example for them. My husband's parents were also diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol/blood pressure. I don't have family history like that, but if he needs to live right, then I should be there by his side.

It has taken awhile to get through my thick stubborn brain, but I know that this is hard work and it's not something you can do part-time. I'm ready to make a change for life. I want to have the energy my parents have to be in their 50's and out running on the beach.

So keep your eyes on my weight graph because that line will go down :)

Power90 Workout Schedule??
Has anybody done the original Power90 program? I just purchased it and it doesn't come with a guide on how to use the videos. If anybody has the workout schedule I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

weekend munchies...
I have this same problem. But I can't get back on track as easily. Once I have a "bad day" I have to work twice as hard to get back on track. Its a constant struggle for me...and one I'm losing big time right now. Sad

Running

I actually really enjoy running on the treadmill. It's like a little game Smile I put my towel over the display and tell myself I'm not going to look at how far I've gone until a certain number of songs go by on my headphones. By the time I look, I've usually almost finished my 5K.

Wow, I'm suprised so many people do this! That's what I do too and I got the idea from a doctor that I work with who is constantly in triathlon training. I use Pandora on my phone/internet and once so many songs go by I look down.

But on my last run, Pandora kept looking for service on my phone and it never started playing music and I couldn't finish my run. It's amazing how much music motivates you.

Jillian Michaels' advice on eating and training...
I am a big fan of the Biggest Loser because I think it is truly helping people get their life back. They have to go through the "boot camp" of weight loss to whip them in shape, but I always just assumed it was because it was to give them a reality check in a short amount of time. They all seem so much healthier, happier, and just more beautiful at the end of it whether they win or not.

I am a big fan of Jillian, but I agree that she has become a sell out. I love her "tough-guy" act as a trainer and that she believes in what she does 100% but just like k8yk said her respect kinda dropped when she started endorsing her diet pills.

BUT...I really love BOB!! Why doesn't he do anything for the puplic outside of the show? I mean I can't find him on Twitter or anything? I would rather follow him than Jillian I think

101 Reasons to Lose Weight
SKINNY JEANS!! I bought some for the first time ever and I looked so good and felt so confident going out last night. I wasn't looking at all the "pretty" girls thinking they were judging me. I felt like I was one of the pretty girls
