I think I am doing a pretty good job staying accountable. Today they were giving out hotdogs at my church and I politely declined. My husband ate one but I didn't even have the desire to eat one though I was hungry........that's because I had already food prepped and had a delicious meal waiting for me at home. While I was waiting for my spaghetti sauce to heat up, I snacked on carrot sticks and some of my pre-cooked broccoli. I know from doing this before that having everything prepared ahead of time...and preportioned makes sticking to a diet/a better way of eating easy and even enjoyable.
For breakfast, I had prepackaged Granola with almond milk and a cup of black tea.
For Lunch...Chickpea meatballs (meat mush since they do not hold shape but are very tasty...will keep working on this recipe). I had those over spaghetti squash with broccoli and cauliflower as a side....talking about healthy and very tasty.
For Dinner, I had real pasta with a creamy mushroom sauce...no cream...no meat. I had string beans with that.
I had healthy snacks and for dessert, I had Greek Yogurt with cookies and cream protein powder (that is so good) and a few strawberries. I am not sure if I am over my RDI because I cannot yet make accurate measurements.
I just realized this was a full meatless day!

Silly me trying to make up calories so I don't have a deficit and what happens...I go way over. Not discouraged though. Tomorrow is another day. I am only successful with this if I plan and prep my meals ahead of time....sigh.
Anyway, I am happy that I have been consistent in the gym...that should help!

I keep breaking promises to myself as if I'm not worthy enough. I'm saddened by this. Anyway, this is what I weigh. Just been going up and down 33 pounds. I can't say if this time is the last time...I've said this before. I can only say that I hope that I am reminded of my reason WHY I need to stick to my goals...I AM WORTHY.
Last 2 weeks I've been more or less following a diet of sorts. I have been going to the gym consistently...at least this last week I have. I have stopped drinking alcohol...this is my commitment to myself for this year and have been sticking to it. Actually, giving up alcohol is really very easy for me so I need to think of other things that are more difficult to give up so NOTHING has a hold on me.
This week coming, I'm looking forward to logging my foods which has always kept me accountable.

I don't even want to talk about it. Anyway, I've restarted exercising and concious(ish) eating. Started walking and some gym workouts, so far I've lost 3 pounds. Started at 199.8 Whenever I start this journal, it always keep me accountable. I am on my way to the gym right now, so I will write more later.
(I was doing oh so, so, so well...sighhhhhhh( But, as usual, I have a can do attitude. I am back on that damn wagon now.

I was 170 last few days. I do not think I gained any weight but I think the time of day is what makes a difference because I find it impossible to believe I've gained any lbs. Anyway, I am no longer stressing on what the scale says. Each day I am reevaluating my diet and making changes that I know will be lifelong. I am being easier on myself too. I am allowing for snacks and treats and even rice...but I am strictly controlling how much of everything...looking at the overall picture. My diet is not 100% where I want it to be but I am also not depriving myself of tasty foods, nor am I going hungry. In fact, there are times that what I have laid out as a portion is just too much for me......and guess what....I don't eat it! Big change.
