In 2006 we moved to the States from our lives in Canada when my husband was transferred. Living a lonely, and pregnant life in a new country didn't help with weight loss. After having my second child I had hit my all time highest weight, 230 lbs. In October 2007 I decided to do something about it but wasn't sure what plan to try. I had done Weight watchers in the past with only small results before giving in to myself and gaining and quitting. I decided to try Nutrisystem and lost 15 pounds. I do NOT recommend it. Salty, processed, unappealing food, no wonder I lost weight. I gave it up while visiting family in Canada over Christmas and never went back. I ended up gaining back all but 5 pounds.
In 2008 we moved back to Canada and I felt like my life was back to 'normal', not an endless vacation with no food boundaries! I tried WW on my own for a while and very slowly lost only a few pounds. January 2009 I officially joined with a new spark and was able to take off 21 pounds, bringing me to just under 200 pounds for the first time in years. Then I did what I now think is just plain crazy. I decided I was doing so well I could do it alone again...right before Christmas. I gained some back..again.
2010, it's taken a few months but I again officially re-joined WW at 203.8 in March. To date (April) I've lost only 4.4 pounds but I know it'll keep moving down instead of back up. I need motivation, inspiration and willpower on a constant basis so I'm trying to find a little more here from fellow weight watcher members. Thanks for stopping by!
