Well, sticking to the NC/cal limits with a brisk walk with the dog and yoga daily seems to be working. Next month will mark the 2 year mark where I was determined to be pre-diabetic at 237 pounds. So I started a low-calorie diet and lost about 8 pounds. So in November I started Atkins and have had nothing but luck with it. It's been a long road, but 98 pounds down, so I'm hoping to be down 100 pounds in the first couple weeks of July since that'll be the 2 year anniversary of my diet journey of my all-time high weight. I'm happy to be back in the 130's tho. I haven't been this weight in about 6 years. I'm thinking about changing my goal to my college weight, but I'm not sure because I am at a healthy BMI, which was my main goal when I started this diet journey. Well, we'll see if I can reach my goal by the end of July. Seems reasonable to lose 4 pounds in about 5 weeks. We'll see tho.

I was actually surprised about the loss this week considering I had 2 cheat days and slacked on exercise. But, I guess sometimes it can surprise you. I'm trying to get back on track with the exercise; the dieting is easier than getting up and moving around. Especially with this new work schedule. I think having the protein bars for lunch are helping. They are low cal and keep me full. Well, time for a walk even though it's in the 90's. Gotta keep pushing.

I've really been slacking on my exercise and I've fallen out of the habit of doing it, and they say it takes 21 days to make a habit, but I just haven't been doing it. Laziness for the most part. Plus, I had a cheat day in there. Now that's one thing that I've avoided ever since I started this diet in November 2014, but I started a new job this week and so I binge ate when I got home my first day because I was so stressed. I bought some protein bars yesterday to start eating for lunch since I just work through lunch at my desk, and I've been drinking more and more green tea. I'm happy for the loss, but I know I've still got a a ways to go. I'm happy to have gotten under my original goal of 145. I first started dieting in July 2014 and they said I was pre-diabetic at 237 pounds. So I did a low-calorie diet for a while, but wasn't getting much results, so I switched to low carb in November. I'm so glad I did. I'm no longer pre-diabetic or on the verge of high blood pressure at only 32. I'm not giving up yet. So, I WILL be exercising more this week for sure.
