I'm a middle aged male that found themslevs totally out of control at over 400 lbs. I'm not even sure how much over 400 I was, because the scale wouldn't return a number. Now there is a wake up call!!! I started getting serious January 2015, when the scale would actually register at 390. Set a goal of 2.5 lbs per week, and have been doing my dead level best to stay on track without getting stupid. My diet is basicly a replacement diet, I eat a healthy diet at around 14-1500 cal a day. Then I allow myself to eat as much above that as I want, as long as it is fresh fruit/veg. Working for me so far, the good part is not being hungry, but cravings can still be a bitch.

Breakfast binge eating??
Sadly, don't expect support from all the people around you. I had a couple co-workers that spent like 6 months giving me shit every time they would walk past my desk while I was making/eating my lunch; normally salad and fresh fruit. Just saying crap they didn't need to be saying; like asking me if I was on a diet, or asking me if I ever eat anything besides rabbit food. I'm not proud of it but I f'n lost it one day and went off on them. One of them actually apologized, but both of them have knocked off the stupid comments. Then again, maybe I was just overly sensitive, and now they think I'm psycho. LOL

As for what to do after a binge, the exact same thing that you you would do if the binge never happened. Just get back to your plan, and try to make better decisions in the future. You will fall off the proverbial wagon from time to time, just pick yourself up and get back to your journey. Kind of like if you run a stop sign, a cop doesn't see you and you don't hit anyone..... what are you going to do? Go find a cop and turn yourself in so you are properly punished? No, you will just try to remember that the stop sign is there, and try not to blow through it the next time.

What am I doing wrong?
Sounds like you're on the right track, might just need a little tuning on your diet. Mummydee had some good points, 1500 cals is scary little. The one thing that I could suggest is watching the quality of what your eating. My last plateau, I changed things up a lot with what I was eating, and now worry less about how much, and more about quality, trying to stay far away from processed foods. I have 3 carefully selected meals which average about 500 cals each. Since I refuse to do hungry, I allow myself to eat as much between meals as I want, as long as its fresh fruits and Vegetables. Trust me, 500 cals of fruits/vegetables it a significant pile, and I still come in under 2k cals for the day. For me this has gotten me back on pace at 2.5 lbs/week, maybe something to think about. Everyone has to find what works for them, that they can tolerate and turn into a lifestyle. The only way you can fail is to stop trying. (I think I read that on a fortune cookie somewhere)
