Started the day with a 2.5 miles treadmill run at 5:30am to boost my metabolism for the day. I do feel a difference running in the morning, way more energy throughout the day. So far, my meal prepping is working. Had 3 scrambled eggs for breakfast, baked drumstick for morning snack and mixed greens with ginger dressing and baked chicken quarter for lunch. Dinner is already prepped, so salmon with asparagus and mixed greens. I do plan to walk about 3 miles around the neighborhood after dinner with the kids. It allows me to bond, while mentally and physically preparing for a good night sleep. It is only 1:15pm so, I need to continue being disciplined for the remainder of the day.

Well it is the end of the night and today was a bad day. I ate some fruit which although low in calories was not allowed. Today is an example of how important it is to eat breakfast. Missing breakfast started me down the wrong path for the day. I did get a great workout in, which was an highlight of my day. Still motivated and will make better decisions tomorrow.

Good afternoon Loves
Week 1 officially down with roughly 4-5 weeks remaining. Weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3.5lbs this week; however, my goal was 5lbs. I am not discouraged because 3.5lbs is significant for a week. I am motivated more than every and looking forward to losing 2-3lbs this coming week.
I did start this morning off a little rocky. I had some fries (about 10) and 1 nugget from McDonalds. I was to blame cause I had no food in the home, but just went grocery shopping. Lunch will be protein packed with green leafy veggies. Remember hydration is important. Stay positive and believe in yourself.
