Went to a very relaxing yoga class this morning. Decided I like it enough to bite the bullet and sign up for a month of classes. Will be going tomorrow at 9:30 am. We also went to the grocery store and stocked the fridge full of delicious treats. All healthy! Matt pointed out that I need to drink less - an "easy way" to cut out calories. He's right, but I really like my pm wine. :) Right now we are trying to make Kale chips. Not sure how they are going to turn out. Hopefully a tasty and nutritious alternative to potato chips.

Drank a little too much wine last night, but I was super proud of myself for avoiding passed hors d'oerves (spell?) at an after work function. Am comitted to going to back to yoga today even though I am still sore/stiff from the last time. The scale also had a better number (but not low enough). I know once I dip below 112 that I have actually lost weight. At this point I am pretty sure that my flucuations are water based. Still, it's better to see progress in the downward direction, even if it is water :)

Went to yoga yesterday! The beginners class was more like "advanced beginners" but I feel really good about taking a first step. Also resisted fresh baked cookies at the office. One day at a time...

Another Hungry day - not sure why...I went out to lunch with one of my friends and we had mexican. I was super proud of myself for not eating more than a handful of chips and salsa and avoiding the refried beans. In the end I still had a 1000 calorie lunch (I think...it's hard to calorie count when you have no idea what's in the foold, but I made an educated guess). HOwever, since that's my big meal for the day, I am fine with it. Plus I ate what wanted, was satisfied, and did not overindulge. I also skipped the diet coke and went with water - so that was a positive too! In order to stay on my running program, I am going to have to venture out tonight. My husband has a work function that includes dinner which should make it easier for me to avoid overeating. Looking forward to the weekend, crossing my fingers that I manage to keep the diet in check.
