Increased carbs to 100 due to more intake of fruits for breakfast and salads with Avocado for lunch with an apple or and orange in the salad. Meat with some type of vegetables (cooked carrots, or broccoli or cabbage) and 8 oz of ultra filtered CarbMaster milk (3 carbs per 8 0z). Using 2 dumbbells 25-30lb for 30-45 minutes each evening. This has proven to have increase metabolic rate and thus burning more calories and carbs.
When your body decides to hold up and plateau for a week or two, this is the most difficult to get through mentally because you start second guessing if you are doing things right. However, it is proven that our genetics will do this on occasion. I changed things up a bit and increased fruit and veggie intake and my body approved. Glad I'm through the plateau and onward to my goal.

Weighed in a day later than normal...but, lost another pound. Averaging 2-3 per week which is a little above average. In a year, or less, will be down to at or below weight goal.

losing 1.8 lb a week

Have done pretty well this week with diet and exercise.
I exceeded my 45 carbohydrates per day limit tonight, but was not a major and can easily get back on track...actually probably estimated a little high on the total carbs from the home made stew (no potatoes in stew, just beef, carrots, celery, and bean sprouts) I had tonight. The crackers was the worst part of the carbs and the majority of the carbohydrate intake. 16 Zesta saltine crackers is about 34 carbs). I love crackers with stew. That was my treat.
Climbed 6 flights of stairs today 4 times, each taking approx 3-4 minutes, depending on people traffic. Logged almost 5k steps on pedometer today.
Unofficially I have lost 2 more pounds and am now 10 pounds lighter, however, my official weigh in is on Sunday morning...so we will see what the numbers are then.
Till then, Keep up the great work everyone, each day is always a new day...never beat your self up for the past...life beats on us enough without us doing it also.

losing 4.7 lb a week

On most days, specially during the week days working, I was easily able to maintain low carb status (55 and under), however, on the weekends, specially during the winter, I have more time on my hands. I am realizing more and more that I will snack out of boredom. This past weekend, I ate Korean cuisine and it is higher in carbs due to the rice and some of the Korean Red Pepper Sauces that have higher amounts of sugar in them, but they compliment the main dishes so very well. Also, the mini side dished in Korean Cuisine are pickled, which have sugar contents in them...this also contributes to higher carb meals, but much lower fat. So to sum this up, My Korean dining experiences placed me over 100 carbs per day, just this past weekend.
