Since getting married almost 4 years ago, I managed to gain a good 35 pounds. Enough is enough already! I'm going no a cruise in July and my 10-year high school reunion is coming up November. I need to shape up and get real. I heard great things about the South Beach Diet from a few friends, read the book, and decided it made sense. I am determined to have fun on the cruise and at my reunion. THE TIME IS NOW!!

Can anyone tell me if it's okay to order Egg Foo Young from Chinese food takeout if you're on the South Beach Diet (any phase)? I'm guessing it would be okay as long as you ask for sauce on the side and use it sparingly?

Awesome, Info! I'm glad you got the book out again. I see you are just 1 pound away from your goal... that's great! Keep it up! I look forward to reaching my goal weight and being able to cook the Phase 3 recipes from this bookbook -- they look delicious! Cool

Cookbook Must-Have
Hey South Beach buddies! Wink

I recently purchased The South Beach Diet Quick & Easy Cookbook 200 delicious recipes ready in 30 minutes or less.

I highly recommend this cookbook to everyone on any stage of this diet. I had been using the recipes from the original SBD book by Arthur Agatston, but I was getting seriously sick of making those same recipes all the time. This cookbook has so much variety, yet keeps it simple and tasty. Phase 1 recipes look appetizing again (not to mention Phases 2 and 3).

This is a great all-around cookbook for anyone who wants to eat healthily and ENJOY it.
