Today I started my day with sweets. It's been a loooooong since I indulged myself with a frappe and I've been desperately wanting one all week long. So, today I went to my fave coffee shop nearby and bought one (it wasn't mcD's even if in my diary says so, but it's the option closest to what I had). BUT at least I ordered a small one. I used to have the large one, and when I decided to lose weight I ordered the medium. But now I'm changing gears and whenever I have a coffee, I'll take the small one. I'm sure that'll be enough to satisfy my craving and sweet tooth, with moderation. Oh! and I didn't have whipped cream on it!

I know it's having a cup of sugar, but I don't worry much. Today I plan on going to the gym and take 1 hour class of spinning, and then 1 hour at the pool swimming. I don't know if I'll have enough energy for the pool, but I hope so. We'll see how I feel after the spinning.

Pheew!
Wednesday without pizza night! I REEEEAAALLY wanted to order a pizza, but I didn't say a thing about it to my hubby. I thought: "I will not be the one who asks for pizza, if he wants to order one, it'll be ok, but I'll have my salad first and will not eat much".

My husband didn't say anything either, so it made it easier for me to pass the pizza night without pizza. Also, I was busy cooking a lentil soup for today's lunch, washing my veggies for my salad for today, cutting my veggies for today's breakfast, and made my dinner. I was busy. Oh, by the way: I cut myself! my left thumb. ooouuuch! be careful with knives! But I'm ok, it just hurts a little.

I need more calories. Yeah, I know it sounds strange. But last night I was completely tired, like I had NO energy left at all. I didn't feel dizzy, but I didn't have energy. I think I've been eating right and enough, but I guess I need more calories because I've been exercising so much these days, usually is something like this: 15-20 minutes on the elliptic, 40-50 minutes on exercise machines for upper or lower body, and then swimming 1 hour. Yesterday I did 25 minutes on the elliptic and 1 hour dancing salsa.

I do think I need more calories on my meals, but I don't want to get more carbs or sodium, and I need something that's easy and fast to prepare and that I can bring to the office because I spend most of my time here. Oh! and no baking, please, because I don't have an oven. If you want to share your fave recipes they'll be more than welcome.

This weekend I went to visit my mom, and yeah.. you all know what that means: lots of delicious food and no strict control of what you eat.

I had desserts and yummy food I hadn't tasted in YEARS, so I enjoyed it without thinking too much. But you know, I don't feel bad today, I don't feel guilty, because, even though it was not the most healthy food you could have, I didn't eat as much as I used to, and when we went to eat out I chose healthier options and didn't feel like "oh, I HAVE to choose this unsavory thing because I'm on a diet", I chose something I liked and felt good about it. Also, I ate less.

Mom baked a banana n' nut bread, and she is a GODDESS when it comes to baking. It was DELICIOUS. And yes, I had my portion on saturday and my portion on sunday. But don't feel bad. It's not like I'm gonna have cakes, cookies and bread everyday, but I don't feel bad because I'm exercising much more these days, so I'm glad to think that I can have treats like that once in a while. I visit mom once a month, sometimes once every 6 weeks, so don't worry.

Exercise is SO important! Work hard! exercise daily, or at least 5 days a week, so you won't gain weight if you slip one day.

Now: back to work! Back to my control, my light meals and, of course.. exercise!!
