Went to bed feeling very uncomfortable after burgers and beer. That was not a good idea.

This morning the scale put me at a higher weight, even after I'd run 30 minutes the day before, as well as take a one-hour weight lifting class, and watch my calories. I kept stepping on the scale until it gave me my old weight. A small victory.

Went out to lunch with a friend yesterday and was not able to limit myself. Wish I could think BEFORE I order the high-fat sandwich and the two scoops of ice cream. But my greedy brain rushes past any potential objections.

Yesterday was not so good. I visited a friend who lavished sweet cakes on me and I didn't refuse. My intention to eat lightly in the evening went by the wayside. Watched a disturbing movie, which also weakened my resolve.
