Hi, I am 54 and currently weigh 210 lbs. My highest weight was 250 lbs. I currently do not diet, but have recognized that I am changing the way I eat and focused on proper portions, water, fat, fruits and veggies etc. This also includes proper exercise which is necessary for everyone coupled with eating a proper diet. Is this easy, no, it is truly a life style change overall. My goal wt. is 195 lbs, which I think is great for my 6'2" frame. The other reason for this diet life style change is to reduce my mid-section weight to an acceptable range which is in line with the assertion that belly fat goes along with an increased incidence of heart attack, which I want to avoid.
I am also doing this for my wife, and in support of by brother and nephew, and most of all myself. I want to be healthy and work on having a long healthy life.
I love to golf, read, go to movies and drink wine, and to eat good food.
