ug- been a bad Barry, eating all the right things, but in huge quantities...
two days at the gym for the first time in over a year and I am smitten...with the gym. trying to get back on the horse with the eating.
of COURSE my damn roommate made tollhouse cookies last night and I had like 50 of them. this is why we don't keep sweets in the house.
anybody else have a problem with binge eating? mmmm?
BUT here are the good things: joined the gym, laying off the booze, and in a routine with a 9-5 job... let's see how this goes...

cooking day! gonna hit the grocery store for some things... Kale Chips are my new obsession. so easy, they taste like lays (to me) and they are a wonderful vehicle for old bay seasoning, which i would eat by the spoonful.
preheat oven to 375, if you rinse the kale, make sure it is completely dry... this is vital...trim off the stem and rip the leaves into bite size pieces. arrange on parchment paper on a sheet (it's best if they are not piled on top of each other). spray with Pam Olive Oil spray (which as far as i can gather has no nutritional value? it says it's pure olive oil, but it has no...anything... it's weird but whatever).
anyway, coat kale with olive oil spray. Just before putting them in the oven, season to taste with sea salt and black pepper BUT try and experiment with your favorite dry seasoning. Old Bay is kick ass on these, also cayenne if you can handle it (can you handle it, wuss?)
been walking more, eating a little better. just realized that my friend Blah is also on a health kick, so it's good to have the support from a human being (not that i don't love you, FatSecret... i've taken to calling you FattyFaceBook...)
