Not my best day, but I did resist the allure of delicious spice cake, which I
LOVE
, & eating after eight. I just need to get more dang sleep. I like to exercise in the morning, but I'm asleep or too tired in the morning. Foolishness.
Breakfast: None (Slept late)
Lunch:
1-2c of 10 (dried) bean soup with sausage slices
1 shortening biscuit (3-4" circle)
Snack:
1 Spree candy cane
Dinner:
1 medium corncob with a light brushing of margarine
5 turkey porcupine meatballs
1 1-2" wedge of jalapeno cornbread
Snack:
2 Spree candy canes
Water: 8+
Exercise: 25 crunches (for the Challenge)

Still cleaning out the last of the holiday left-overs. Yeah, I could toss them, but that's wasteful & unnecessary
when restraint is practiced
. I'm also calling upon the power of self-restraint to keep from weighing today. I know how I am; I now I'll get obsessive, if I let myself, so no weighing for a week or more.
Breakfast:
1c of Land O Lakes Raspberry Dark Chocolate Hot Cocoa
(Part of a gift, specifically chosen because of my love of raspberries and dark chocolate. It was good, but not fulfilling enough for the amount of sugar, sodium, fat, and calories it contained. When are drinks ever, though?)
Lunch:
1-2c of homemade 10 (dried) bean soup with sausage slices
Snack:
1 Menta chocolate-centered hard mint
Dinner:
3-5c of bran flakes with skim milk
1 Olive Garden garlic bread stick
Water: 8+
Exercise: None

Because this site's catalogue for calorie-counting is quite limited, I'll try to keep a recording of my real intakes in my journal, at least when there's nothing like what I ate in the directory. (And, no, I won't be entering recipes. I did so on TDP, pre-LS, & it was too time-consuming & easy to obsess over.)
Breakfast:
Nothing (Slept late)
Lunch:
1-1.5c of homemade 10 (dried) bean soup with sausage slices
1-2"-wide wedge of homemade jalapeno cornbread
Dinner:
1 slice of Pizza Hut hand-tossed pepperoni, beef, & red onion pizza
1 slice of Pizza Hut stuffed crust pepperoni pizza
Water: 64oz++
Exercise: 1 hour Wii Fit

12/21/08 - Christmas (at home) came early for me this year, & I couldn't resist overindulging a bit. Well, more than a bit, considering the amount of sugar, sodium, & bad fats, but, hey, that's what the holiday season is all about, right? :^P At least I got in a bit of exercise, though the allure of my new game(s) & the added stress of visitors will likely (re)make a lazy bum out of me, too.
