I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I go to gym 4 times a week for a cardio class, staying away from sugar and junk food. Having a smoothie (made from avocado, broccoli, spinach, banana, strawberry, peanut butter and a bit of pineapple? in the morning and evening and having vegetables and protein for lunch. But I’m still gaining weight 😢

I am at my heaviest I have ever been. I usually eat healthy here and there but weekends I usually go all out. I have never battled to lose weight before but this time it’s so hard, even on a good week of exercise and eating healthy , I’ll barely lose anything. However I don’t like the way I look or feel. I am now a size 44 and dread buying clothes. It has to stop now or I won’t recognize myself anymore. I look at my old pictures and I was so fine but at that point I felt like I was fat. I don’t remember a time in my life where I thought I was not fat. I have decided though that I need to work on me and feel good about me and what other people see or think will be theirs to deal with. I’m really scared, that I’ll start and my poor discipline will get me back again. I’m determined though. I just had my wisdom tooth removed and I think it’s best to start now while I am still on a soft food diet and try to reduce my food intake and switch to smoothies made from vegetables instead of yoghurt and custard. I don’t want to fail but a part of me feels that it’s impossible to lose this weight. All I know is I don’t feel good when I look in the mirror and I know something has to change ...
