We are going out to a steakhouse tonight and I'm trying to figure what to have that will keep within my guidelines. I've decided on Fillet Mignon with a salad, I'd rather have the prime rib that they are famous for but opted for the leaner meat. I'm planning ahead and logging before I eat anything. It's difficult because every place has their special salads and they don't post nutritional information on the web, so I'm looking for close: from what is out there.

I'm battling with the "throw caution to the wind ...it's only one meal" (albeit a potential 2000K meal) or "you've come this far.. don't blow it".

Since I can't find a comparable salad entry, I had looked it up the restaurant's nutritional info and their nutritional info showed 380 calories but it doesn't calculate. So I entered 4 cheese slices for the calorie count (or close) just to keep track.

EPILOGUE: I opted for the 8oz fillet with salad. No dessert. It worked :)
