Usually my hubby and I have pancakes at least once on the weekend for breakfast. We have not had pancakes in over 5 weeks.
This morning we had splurged and went for it.
I had two pancakes about 4 inch in diameter, as soon as I ate them I just felt b l a h.
Four hours later, my belly still feels bloated and icky. I wish I could say it was worth it, but the after effects were not worth the momentary nice taste.
Not a great way to start my vacation.
Dont do as I did, friends! Its not worth it.

I have lost 40 pounds in the last couple of years from 235 pounds to 209 last winter to a steady 190-195 lbs the last year.
I was having issue with my blood pressure and recently went on a water fast for about 10 days. It was the first time I had fasted with only water, but had read studies on line about how a 10-14 day fast helps greatly with BP.
My blood pressure has went from the 150/90's to 100-110's/70's.
During my water fast, I also dropped about 2 lbs a day. I lost a total of 19 lbs.
I was in the 170's and felt so good-- then the weight came back, as quickly as it had went off. (I have juice fasted before and I have been able to keep some of the weight off.)
So here I am.
Back in the 190's and feeling a little disgruntled with myself this afternoon.
I have been eating a clean diet since the fast. My carb intake has been less than 100 g a day and no more than 1400 calories a day. I also started up Zumba again this week.
I am assuming my body my is readjusting after the fast and is holding onto extra fluids.
Trying to keep my chin up. (Feeling sorry for myself today!)
But I am determined to persevere and get back into the 17o's this year.
Looking for support and encouragement.
