Just learned to always read labels before I eat over fattening things that my grandparents give me >.<
It's true. When you go to your grandparents' place, they fatten you up. They eat foods that are packed with calories! Never assume that just because something has a healthy substance in the product that it is truly good for you.
For example, Goya Corn Meal. As the only anti-carnivore in my family, my grandfather likes to get creative with my meals and this is one of his solutions. Now that I count my calories with FatSecret, I looked at the label for the very first time. A serving size of 1/6 of a cup is equivalent to 114 calories. 1/6 of a cup! That isn't a satisfying meal and it's heavy with calories. Made it's a nice small side, or good for someone who wants to gain weight but that's the polar opposite of my plans.
So, what I'm trying to say is, beware of your ignorance (and what your grandparents are serving)! Always read labels!!!

Recently, I'm exercising more than 30mins a day, eating right, and not losing much of anything. It's becoming very annoying not to see much change on the scale, but I'm digging how my body's looking in the mirror ;]

Technically yesterday, a friend of mine that I haven't seen in awhile came up to me and announced that I was losing rapid weight fast. Super flattered! Even though I really only lost three pounds recently. She's really the only one that notifies me of such things, she seems to be the only one that notices or possibly the only one that cares. As a bonus someone noticed my teeth are straighter. Mission: Become More Lovely For Prom is making some positive progress and I am beyond please. True, I'm impatient to meet my goal already but I know it'll totally be worth it in the end.
Technically later this morning, I'm going to weigh myself and I really hope I'm not stuck on the same number. Even though I'm aware that the number on the scale doesn't show the fitness I'm easing into, it's still encouraging to see a decreased number. Wish me luck!

Starting to get fed up with being stuck at 160lbs for the past three days. Even though my grandmother says I'm really toning up, I'd like the number to change on the scale already. At this rate, I may not accomplish that 30 by Oct30 challenge. So extremely disappointing. Suggestions anyone?
