Me again. I have found that certain commercial foods have entered into the data base do not correspond to the current situation: Lindt 90% chocolate was simplified and made a square calculate 2.5 grams less than they are here in the UK. Lindt 90% has 8 squares in 100 grams making a square 12.5 grams. Or, Finn Crisp rye crackers were listed with different data than I found on my round Finn Crisp package. I have inserted both these in the data base with distinguishing details to help matching up with what our members want to insert. I want to keep it real, and learn from the facts. I have noticed what portion sizes are given by companies and I see that it is to reflect a size that is convenient for them and not what I would call my portion. Sometimes they are small (meusli) and sometimes they are way too big. (Lindt 90%) The devil is in the detail....

I am inserting the chocolate bar data in the system because I make chocolate milk by melting 95% chocolate into my milk and put sweetener in it. I sometimes add some cocoa powder to give it some density as well. Cinnamon is an extra.
The weather has gotton colder so the feet have begun to suffer as I stay on the computer. I did some house cycling first thing this morning, just to get the metabolism running and actually it was also helpful to get the lower back loosened up as well.
It was nice to have hubby come home and eat lunch together. I did smoked kippers in brown rice that had been cooked with a hefty leek. Pepper and frozen sweet corn dressed it up. He loved it, or was it because I prepared it? I will be getting one of my DVDs out and walking on the treadmill this evening to get some more exercise in.
Practicing my Deaf Sign language is an active source of movement as well. I had an hour and half of that this morning.
I am suffering from hot flushes now that I am off the Dixarit, which had compromised my gut activity terribly. Gotta keep the vegies coming. I am going to be making a pumpkin-carrot curry soup tomorrow. Love those soups and the pressure cooker is the best way to keep all the flavours.
My policy is no energy foods after 18:00 and at least 12 hours of no food between last meal of the day before and the first meal of the next day. Does that sound esoteric? I need to drink more than anything when i get up, not eat.

How's that for meeting up with friends... eating out a super salad,,, just think what the damage would have been if I had eaten the entire salad... as it was we shared one between us. Had tea, then tea with one digestive cookie only because the daughter of the house offered it to me.... the killer of the evening, evening with music buddies, glasses of wine to forget the job loss my husband is facing, and to listen with my whole soul to the music this fabulous singer has put together.
At least I had a good swim and for a long hour.... constantly moving. I walked a bit when leaving the doctors. Now I am having a cuppa soup but I suppose I will have to make my own soup in order for it to be healthy enough to eat as much as I want (AMAIW)Too much salt every where. I remember that when I was avoiding salts while on cortisone..... that is why and how we get bloated when cortisone is part of our intake... it holds water in our system and the best way to counteract it is to not take in ANY salt.... not very easy...
I am off to bed now. I have been a good girl and written down these extras. I have even shared new food items on the list... ainsley harriot stuff. I will have a good work out on the tread mill tomorrow. Snow is on the agenda for this weekend.... so indoor training is to be expected.
