Going up a pound today is proof that you shouldn't eat too close to bed! But I didn't have much choice really.
Went to the gym today, really working on trying to run further and faster. I surprised myself when I started running that I actually enjoy it!
Not much else to say really... Trying to keep my fluid intake really high especially with having a bit of a cold, so I'm carrying water with me everywhere. I think it keeps my appetite down too so that's pretty cool

Still fighting off the sniffles, and Tuesdays are my longest days so if I can survive today I'll make it through I think!
Because it's my longest day, I get 4 meals today, woo! However, apart from breakfast (which is almost always the same) I seem to have picked quite high calorie meals for today. I want to buy lunch on campus on Tuesdays as a treat, but the portion sizes can be huge! And my other lunch and tea are just the type that are a little calorie heavy- fine on a normal day, but with that extra meal, I need to watch out.
In other news, I've been booze free for 2 whole weeks! Go me!

The weekend was a little up and down really I guess. The bf took me out for lunch yesterday. I think I picked an OK meal with fish and chips- there were some very inviting looking burgers covered in cheese sauce and bacon, etc, but I just pretended they didn't exist as a coping mechanism... No I'm kidding really, it was good to make a good decision. Then we went to the cinema and I convinced him to NOT fall into the popcorn trap, so that was a relief.
I'm not sure if I'm coming down with a cold/flu. It's very unusual for me to be ill, I rarely even get the sniffles, but I had 2 hot flushes yesterday and I've had earache for a while and a slight sore throat. Because of this, I made sure I had tea even though I wasn't really up for it and got some more fruit and veg into me, along with lots and lots of water.
WRT to first day of the Challenge, I think I've done OK except I probably ate too close to bedtime. Not bad

Went on a very lengthy shopping trip yesterday, feel like I burnt off a day's worth of food dodging people down Manchester's high street! I knew my tea was going to be heavy in calories- the bf loves this meal and as he lives in crappy accommodation with next to no cooking facilities I feel like I should give him something he loves when I see him- but I didn't quite realise how bad it was till I priced it up! And then of course there was a bit of egg fried rice left over which I munched on happily whilst doing the dishes... And then there were the biscuits which were just on the living room table and I couldn't resist them... Not an amazing day BUT the bf and my housemate were trying to peer pressure me into drinking with them (they're not horrible people by the way, just they've never known me to resist booze, and they like to gang up on me a bit when it's the three of us) and I managed to resist. So, I may have had a few biccies but I did resist the booze and I'm proud of that.
Oh bummer, I also ad a Mar bar which the bf *kindly* gave me (he'd sat on it and melted it and no longer wanted it. Sigh)
