Been awhile since I weighed in. I haven't been sticking to the plan. I guess I just got bored with it and decided to eat a lot of things I don't normally eat. I'm surprised the results aren't a lot worse. But it's time to get serious and make things happen!! I think it would be a lot easier if the weather was better. Can't wait for spring! Well, onward it is.

Haven't entered anything in awhile. A lot of stress still with my health issues as well as my husband's. Meeting with his doctor today to arrange a second opinion on his knee. Fell on it about 10 years ago at work. Had the knee replaced about a year and a half later. Yeah it took that long to get the company's insurance to do an MRI of the knee, arthroscopic surgery, physical therapy and then knee replacement. About a year later had to have the knee re-aligned. The swelling never really went away and he has complained about the knee ever since and not really getting anywhere with the insurance. The ortho doc says there is nothing he can do short of replacing it again and the insurance isn't likely to agree. We have a lawyer since pretty much day one and he hasn't really done a hell of a lot. Met with him last week and feels we should get a second opinion from another ortho doc not in this area. My husband is 61 and has been falling lately due to the knee. His quality of life is deteriorating over the past few years due to this and he says he can no longer do his job safely with a cane because he works around machinery. I worry constantly that something more serious will happen if he continues to work. He currently does 8 1/2 hours a day, 6 days a week (mandatory) which is difficult with the knee. His company is going on 12 hour shifts in march and there is no way he would be able to tolerate being on his feet for that amount of hours. We're are hoping this second opinion will help get him on disability if nothing else can be done. It's been a long ten years and it's time the company realizes how much this has affected his life! Here's hoping for change for the better!!!
Weight is 221.4. Up a pound.

Up a pound. Not surprised with some of the choices made. Time to get back to the basics and move on.

Only gained a pound. Not bad considering all that's been going on. Stress not as bas as it has been. I guess just learning to cope with it better. I will be glad when January is over, too many things going on right now. Time to get back eating more healthy and holding oneself accountable for exercising as much as possible. It's a new year and I'm confident I can get this done.

First time in over a year I'm below 220! I did not expect this during the month of December. With all the stress going on I'm glad to be moving still in the right direction.
