As of today's weighin, I am above my "uh oh" weight of 140. I am back to counting calories until I am back under that number again. I know what has happened, and it is called Summer Vacation- lots of cold beers, afternoons spent nibbling on indulgent treats, and barbecue dinners. So, I know what to do- now I gotta do it!

Ugh!!!! I am going to rant a little bit. I AM upset that the scale is up this week. As much as I try to not be wrapped up in that number, because I FEEL amazing- healthy, fit, happy, it upsets me out to see the scale go up after a week of being slightly more relaxed with myself. I guess I just see the rest of my life ahead of me, with having to really police what I eat to keep the scale from sneaking up on me. It looks like a long road. I wonder if it will ever be "easy" for me to know exactly what to eat to keep my weight where I would like it to be.
Note that exercise is not even a question- I LOVE working out now, and find time nearly every day for either running or a full body workout. So, I guess that is one battle that I don't have to be concerned about. I enjoy my workouts, and look forward to them, and feel funny if I miss a workout. So, I'll call that a victory.

Dang!!! I think this is probably mostly attributable to leftover Easter candy and a lack of willpower. Taking a deep breath, dropping the junk, and getting back on track.
