HI ALL!

I am new to the site and so excited about it. I just got married last August (2010) and I want to lose some weight before trying to get pregnant (hopefully this summer) I work full time as a police dispatcher on the graveyard shift, so my sleeping patterns are all over the place. I love salt (not that big on sweets) and have not had fast food in 2 months - whoot whoot!
I am looking forward to getting healthy and becoming a mommy!

Getting healthy so I can become a mommy... you to ?
I've been on my pre-natals for over 4 months now. I just started YOGA today - whoot whoot!
I am down just about 5 lbs, so super excited! I am going to read up on prego enhancing - if you will- foods and post back in a bit!

The calories out doesn't seem to make sense...
The BMR thing on here was giving me a LOT of calories to eat. I talked to a nutritionist and she told me about 500 less is my target amount. I put her amount in over the calculated amount and am doing great on it. I am not hungry (but I drink a BOAT load of water)
It really is amazing what you can cook and eat for so few calories - eating healthy can cost more at the checkout stand but it sure feels good when it's in your tummy !

Exercised both day of the weekend!
I totally agree - I have the app on my iphone and I LOVE being able to scan the bar code of the food I am eating, plus the search for the food is super easy as well!

Getting healthy so I can become a mommy... you to ?
New to the site and joined to get healthy so my new husband and I can have a healthy pregnancy and baby. I've had a hard time getting started but I am feeling good and sleeping better. Anyone else in my boat? I am looking for foods that boost fertility and looking into starting yoga - any suggestions out there ?
