Calorie Count

losing 2.1 lb a week
I'm a 28 yr. old male looking to get back to a BMI of 22-24. I have a desk job, so I need to start taking my diet and exercise plan seriously. I don't think I have a very good awareness of how unhealthy certain foods are. I'm hoping that the calorie counting diet will help me make better decisions for a more sustainable lifestyle.
Update: After a year I've reached my initial goal of losing 20 lbs and now I'm shooting for 30. The key for me has been nothing more than eating healthy and exercising 3 times a week. 1,500 calories a day seems to be the sweet spot and I can still cheat a day or two a week. Calorie counting works if for no other reason than to raise your awareness of what you're actually eating and how it impacts your weight loss.
