Yipppppeeeeeee!!! I have broken the former plateau of 133 pounds! Before this time around, I had been following a similar eating plan and doing a lot of cardio. I am now living proof that strength training busts a plateau. Ohhh yeah!
On the very much downside, I've had horrible intestinal gas for the last day. I have no idea what it's from, but I can liken the gas pains to that of the kind one gets after abdominal surgery (or a c-section). Very uncomfortable. I considered buying some kind of OTC remedy, but I'm not a big believer in medicine, unless it's for my kids, or unless I feel like hell and can't take it anymore. I'll ust deal with it. In case anyone else is reading, I hate to be crude about it, but does anyone else have gas pains??? I'm going to google it and see if it's a side effect of a change in diet and exercise routines. So, yay! 2 pounds are gone...I definitely feel much better. I'm going to do some light cardio today. I'm kind of sleepy, so I'm done writing. :o)

Took my before pictures today. Ew. I hope I see a drastic improvement in 6 weeks, because I don't like the way I look right now. It's pretty motivating, though, I must say! When I look at my before pictures, I can be like, "Better get movin'!"
So, I know it has nothing to do with weight, but I'm really sad for Britney Spears. I hope she gets better. She's so...pitiful. I think I feel mostly sad for her babies. They shouldn't have to witness her lose her freakin' mind like that. Anyway...I'm going to get a cup of chamomile tea! Byeee

Okay, so I didn't do smoothies ALL day long, but I <i>did</i> have a smoothie for breakfast, which really helped me to stay sated for a longer period of time than having a regular breakfast would have. My workout today was a circuit training workout, as outlined in the ABS DIET book. It included a lot of strength-training moves, and was definitely challenging, as I had to complete two circuits! So...feeling good today! I'll carry it on tomorrow...

So, according to my diet entry yesterday, I am eating way too much to lose weight. So, today, I'm going to try a new approach. I'm going to make smoothies for myself all day, except for my snacks...That way, I know that the big meals are low in calories. The book says that all you need to do is eat the right foods, and you don't need to count calories. I thought i was doing that, but I apparently was not. It's a new day, so here I go! Wish me luck!
