Doing OK. I am eating less for dinnertime. I ate out for lunch. I have a good supply of light dinners in my freezer. I have a light breakfast, OK lunch, snack for dinner. I am busy writing and listening to music. I watch Spanish TV too to learn the language better. My dog and cat keep me company. I am self-publishing my first book this March. I may self-publish one to two more books by year's end too if I can and if it seems like it is a good idea. I should have eight books done by year's end if I keep myself busy. The first three books were long, long writing endeavors with much research and they were well done too. Less research for the following books as the genres were different. Otherwise, doing OK and well. If I am very successfully published I will likely return to Hawaii and spend the rest of my years there.

Doing OK. I am doing OK with sleep. The weather is cold, but sunny. I have to go do errands today. I am probably going to self-publish my first book next month. It has been professionally edited. I will have hard copies and Internet copies. It is a start. The main thing is to try to get a copy in the hands of an influential person who can get me a big publishing deal, it is not about making money now. Dieting going well. I may do low carb soon... but I am also thinking of doing vegetarianism in a matter of months. Former President Bill Clinton had to do that for health issues (remember he had to have heart surgery due to poor eating habits when he was younger). My cousin Meredith has been a vegetarian since age 18 or so, she will be 48 this year. Her kids eat meat. She is thin too. She is an RN in labor and delivery in a nearby hospital in my area. I don't talk with her. I have done vegetarian four times before but only lasted four months each time. First thing is to get rid of all meat products in my place and eat all the frozen stuff first in the next few months and not waste food. I have a freezer in my basement. Have a good day, everyone.

Happy New Year 2016! Time is going by and of course there is nothing we can do to stop it. I will be 54 this year. I have been trying to get published for nearly 20 years, no luck yet - so I may self-publish in 2016. I have many books done and the first has been professionally edited already, and others will be professionally edited in 2016. There is probably no money in it to self-publish, but my book may be discovered that way, there has to be something I can do. Celebrities can get any trash published, and make money. I am financially OK - not rich by any means - and once one is wealthy to any degree one just tends to use the money to travel the world I noticed if they have any common sense. Glad the holiday season is over. I did not gain weight as I did not go to any parties. I am losing. If I can lose five pounds a month, or even four on average, then I will get to around 210 or 215 - where I want to be by summertime. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year 2016 and that your wishes come true this year. We all know as each year arrives it is with new hope, and saying good-bye to the past. Let's all get our weight issues under control. We can do it!

Doing well. I am a bit tired, I need to lose weight mainly because I have arthritis. Ten pound goals per month or six-week increments are not unreasonable - one just has to stop eating enormous amounts of food three to six times a day, three small meals a day is enough. I hope to be down to 210 or 215 lbs. by May or June and it is totally possible. It is not unreasonable. I will likely cut carbs back dramatically after the holiday season is over. There are so many hidden calories. In egg nog - just a large glass of it can have way over 500 calories, which is insane, so I will not buy it. I do not eat ice cream. I got a New Year's Eve dinner with apple pie, after that - no more sweets. I am not much for sweets anyway. Next week I hope to get back to the gym again to get swimming again regularly. Happy New Year everyone - 2016 already. The years go by fast. As one ages, they lose family and friends - too many. If one had told me a decade ago how many people I know who would have passed on I would have never believed it. My mom died of cancer in 2014. This was the first full calendar year with her gone. Life goes on, for the living. And the young, there always be the young - to overtake the older - but they too if they're lucky to live long enough will age too and will see the younger generations take over in time. I am 53 now, and noticed particularly this year commercials are of people young enough to be my children - portraying parents too often.
