Where do I start??
Well... I've been fighting the battle of the bulge all my life. A couple of times I've actually won the battle & lost 80-100 lbs each time. :0)
I'm a great dieter... but I'm a lousy maintainer!
I've always managed to stay between 160-225lbs but this time was very different.
I was in pre-menopause <--- major hurdle! Aaaaaand... I lost 4 siblings, my mother,(all health related) my best friend & my sweet GSD all in a 4 year span! Wheeeeew! I never saw this broken road coming! I was in such raw pain, it was easy to justify every handful of comfort food I shoved in my mouth resulting in 75 lb weight gain. OUCH! :0)

Alot of people ask me how I could possibly make it through such great loss (& weight gain). The only answer I have is... how could I not?? I mean, what's the alternative?? Not surviving was not an option. Yes, food comforted me for a season but it's faith & hope in a divine Healer that sustains me for a lifetime. :0)

Now, here I am 3 years later & I've decided I'm done grieving. I'm mentally, emotionally & spiritually renewed & READY for the next quest on this narrow, rocky road. I'm stronger, more determined & ever so aware of my strengths & weaknesses than I have ever been before. I'm so ready to live a full & abundant life!
